Do you operate on a sales agency basis?

We like to explore the opportunity before we commit to what the best business model will support a long term relationship. We do believe that without commitment, personal and business relationships will probably fail. We want to make sure what we do is going to get a return. We may to choose to establish a sales agency relationship in a market but lets minimize the risk first. Experience shows that a lot of work can go into agency relationships with the agent focused on what is best for them rather than what is best for the customer or the client. 

Where are you based?

Our Team is primarly based in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates but we live in a hybrid world and we spend a lot of time travelling across the GCC, India and Africa. We are old fashioned - we do believe we should always have that face to face relationship. Our model works in that we can handle multiple relationships and economise on travel expenses using our network locally and remotely. This keeps our costs down and minimizes your risk and controls our ROI.

Growth can lead to supply chain opportunities - Can you help?

Yes. We have huge experience in the OEM medical field with procurement and shipping consolidation agents working across Asia. We have discovered hundreds of OEM suppliers focused on Orthotics & Prosthetics, Podiatry and Physical Rehabilitation. We also have deep level experience with many of the IMEA regional large volume procurement agencies.

What do you think of trade shows?

There is a tendency to launch a product or a company at a trade show with a blank lead book. That's risky as it is not proactive and you have no idea if and who will become a lead. In the modern world building leads and closing deals can be done in a no-cost way without the huge expense of trade shows. Its more work to map the market out but in focused markets thats why Deliberate was started. 

Education. Education. Education. This is the key to winning in our clinical markets but we live in a time when there are multiple channels open to provide this so developing the right mix for the customer is key.
