Prosthetics for Gaza, "Step by Step" Project

The ‘Step by Step’ pilot project will deploy 3D scanning and printing technology to provide 50 children with prostheses to walk and play again. With only 11 Doctors trained as a prosthesis remaining in Gaza the “Step by Step” pilot is partnering with Bionic P&O experts to:

- Provide ‘hands on’ training for a Prosthetist and 3D technician in Jordan

- Utilize 3D scanning and printing techniques for custom prosthetic sockets.

- Showcase techniques in a pilot for 5 children

- Develop an ongoing training strategy

- Lay the foundation for a scalable program

8,000 people are estimated to need a prosthetic solution in Gaza. Only 11 doctors trained as prosthetists remain. All rehabilitation clinics were destroyed.
