KSrelief and IRVD Launch Prosthetic Center in Yemen to Aid 6,000+

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement with the International Wars and Disasters Victims Protection Association (IRVD) to operate the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Aden Governorate, Yemen. This initiative is expected to benefit over 6,000 individuals in need of rehabilitation services.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the International Conference on Conjoined Twins in Riyadh.

Under the terms of the agreement, the center will provide a comprehensive range of physical rehabilitation services to individuals with special needs. These services will include diagnosis, treatment planning, prosthetic limb installation, functional rehabilitation, and continuous follow-up care. Additionally, the center aims to reduce the migration of specialized medical and technical personnel, ensuring that these skilled professionals remain in Yemen to support local needs.
This initiative is part of a broader series of humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
