ICORR is gearing up to present a new webinar: “Rehabilitation 4.0: Transforming Neurorehabilitation through AI, Robotics, and Interoperability.”
Time: 18th February 2025, from 13:00–14:00 CET
This session, moderated by Claudio Castellini and Zen KOH (Motus Academy), will feature insights from experts Robert Riener (Cybathlon), Rui Loureiro, and Hyung-Soon Park.
Join these legends in rehabilitation robotics and medical exoskeletons live on the ICORR Consortium YouTube Channel https://lnkd.in/esudnkxj. Expect the conversation to explore innovative approaches to modernizing neurorehabilitation through AI, robotics, and seamless interoperability.
Rehabilitation 4.0 reimagines neurorehabilitation by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, robotics, and seamless interoperability. Introduced by Zen KOH during his keynote at the inaugural ICAIR hosted by KITE in Toronto in 2023, this innovative framework is built upon three core principles:
1. Consolidation: Streamlining technologies and practices to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency.
2. Standardisation: Establishing unified protocols across devices and systems to ensure compatibility and reliability.
3. Interoperability: Enabling seamless communication and data exchange among devices, platforms, and stakeholders (clinicians, patients, caregivers).
These principles are further enriched by personalized, AI-driven treatment plans and adaptive robotic systems that respond dynamically to patients’ evolving needs.
In this webinar, experts will explore how interoperability—allowing robotic exoskeletons, virtual therapy platforms, rehabilitation technologies, and patient monitoring tools to work cohesively—can lead to continuous care, reduced redundancies, and comprehensive patient insights.
