CPO of the Week:  Christopher Ogbonna from Lagos, Nigeria

Graduated in May 2013 from the Federal University of Technology in Owerri. Currently working at the Babcock Teaching Hospital in Illisan, Ogun State.

What do you claim is your speciality - your O&P passion?
My Passion is Lower Limb Solutions, especially prescribing Foot Orthotics
 
What do you like most about practising O&P?
The Hands on Clinical assessment, design and fabrication.
 
What frustrates you about O&P?
Defnitely poor patient outcomes.

How do you build rapport with patients in your care?
I have weekly check listings and through this I always check up on my patients.
 
What is your greatest patient story in O&P?  
I used a shoe abduction foot brace to correct a 6 months relapsed bi-lateral clubfoot and the patient returned to normal daily activities.
