What do you claim is your speciality - your O&P passion?
I have diverse experience in dealing with both the group of Prosthetic and Orthotic cases with equal potential and also, worked in Otto Bock, NGOs, International organizations, and government Institutes.

What do you like most about practising O&P?
I always feel enthusiastic about the O&P profession which deals not only with providing the services but the Psychosocial and socio-economic support to this group.

What frustrates you about O&P?
Defnitely poor patient outcomes.

How do you build rapport with patients in your care?
I think communication is one of the tools that I feel is the most important in clinics that connect to the patients while caring and of course giving quality services as per his / her requirements. In addition to this, the follow-up of the users which I felt is one of the strong components that need to be focused on as a P&O to develop the rapport with the users.

What is your greatest patient story in O&P?
It started when I was in the institute while studying the BPO and the first cases to which I provided the services to a Bil. Trans Tibial amputees fitted the devices without complaint and she started walking. That’s still motivating me, and this is how the journey has started and keeps going until now.
