The Royal Moroccan Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities successfully organized the finals of the Cup of the Throne for team sports, featuring competitions in amputee football, deaf football, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair basketball for the 2023-2024 sports season.
The final stages were held at the Covered Hall of the Ibn Rochd Sports Complex in Rabat and the Moulay Rachid National Institute of Sports in Salé.
The amputee football final showcased the "Abnae Fès" Association for Persons with Special Needs against the Renaissance Association of Agadir for Persons with Special Needs, where the Renaissance Association clinched the title.
In the deaf football final, the game was contested between the Al Ittihad Sports Club of Tétouan and the Al Ittihad Sports Association for the Deaf, with the latter securing the Cup of the Throne title.
The wheelchair basketball team of the Souss Agadir Disabled Sports Association achieved a remarkable double victory, winning the Cup of the Throne in wheelchair basketball on Saturday by defeating the "Abnae" team from Bogaz Tanger in a thrilling final match, which ended with a close score of 45 baskets to 42.

Hamid El Aouni, President of the FRMSPSH, along with Abderazak El Akkari, Director of Sports, and other prominent figures, attended the crowning ceremony.
Hamid Aouni emphasized that the FRMSPSH organizes the Cup of the Throne finals for team sports yearly, and these events are successful thanks to the concerted efforts of all involved.
The success of this ceremony, which highlights paralympic sports, comes on the heels of Morocco's impressive 15 medals at the Paris Paralympic Games, showcasing a positive image of sports in our country, especially with the Kingdom preparing to host the 2030 World Cup under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and his visionary approach to sports as a cornerstone of economic and human development.
