World cerebral palsy awareness day fitment camp organised in Kashmir

On eve of World cerebral Palsy awareness day a fitment camp for orthopedic disabled including the cerebral Palsy affected persons was organised by Humanity Welfare Organization Helpline. Around 75 persons with Disabilities took the benifits from the camp. around 90 devices including Artificial limbs Ankle knee orthosis and knee foot orthotics were distributed among the needy deserving persons with Disabilities. Earlier 100 persons with Disabilities were assessed in September 2024 and 75 persons with Disabilities were found eligible for the devices. after one month of fabrication the devices with digital technology were produced by Ray Rise Bionics Banglore and transported to Jammu and Kashmir.

After number of trials the devices were given to deserving persons with Disabilities free of cost. the programme was sponsored and technically supported by Ray Rise Bionic centre Bangalore.

The organisers of humanity Welfare Organization Helpline Bijbehara said that the organisation has prime objective of empowering persons with Disabilities at all levels and such camps will be organised throughout jammu and kashmir especially in boarder areas to meet the needs of persons with severe Disabilities without giving the financial burdens. All the persons with Disabilities benefitted from the camp appreciated the role of Humanity welfare organization Helpline NGO for giving huge support for the overall rehabilitation of persons with Disabilities

The persons with Disabilities from far flung areas of Kashmir division took the benifits from the camp. Team of 5 members from Ray Rise Bionic centre Bangalore have been working tirelessly for the fitment upto 9th October.
