Jordan Field Hospital in Gaza Equips for Increased Patient Influx

The commander of the Jordan field hospital in southern Gaza/5, Colonel Tareq Al-Hunaiti, said Sunday that the hospital is equipped with the latest medical devices and includes a number of specialized clinics, expecting the number of hospital visitors to double with the entry into force of the truce to reach more than 25,000 visitors and patients.

The hospital includes clinics for general surgery, blood vessels, nerves, plastic surgery and burns, orthopedics, a pediatric clinic, internal medicine, gynecology, and a premature babies clinic, in addition to a mobile prosthetic limb support unit, Al-Hunaiti told Al-Mamlaka channel.

He pointed out that the emergency, radiology, pharmacy and laboratory departments operate 24 hours a day, in addition to major and minor operating rooms and intensive care rooms.

Since January 12,2025, the hospital received 9,447 cases and performed 51 surgeries, including 25 major surgeries and 26 minor surgeries, and 14 cases were fitted with prosthetic limbs, he stated.
